Group classes

Even though the projects will vary from class to class the common thread for all is kids having fun while learning about carpentry.  Want to learn about the importance of squareness, why you sand with the grain of the wood, different types of joinery, how to use various hand and power tools?  Sign up now.  Although I love teaching these classes, both family and work restrict my availability to only one or two Saturdays each month.

Next available class date is:  Saturday, November 14th.

Please book your group no later than Saturday, October 31st to confirm your spot.

This class will be all about pocket-hole joinery as we'll make a small picture frame.  Other things that'll be covered include:

  • what are fasteners

  • how to use a hammer

  • how to use a power drill

  • how to read a tape measure

  • how to use a miter box and backsaw

  • understanding pocket-hole jigs

  • and more!

Sound fun?  Please contact me for more information.

With all group classes:

  • all students must be ages 10 and up

  • a parent will provide the space (home, business, park, etc.)

  • there is a five student minimum

  • classes are capped at seven students to give each student more individual attention and to best accommodate Covid protocol

  • all students must wear a face covering

Again, please book your group no later than Saturday, October 31st to confirm your spot.  See you then!
